Bergen is located at the very end of a peaceful mountain chalet community, surrounded by forest and offering beautiful views of the High Tatras.
It is the perfect retreat for families, couples and groups of friends looking to slow down, relax and recharge in one of Slovakia's most beautiful mountain regions. Spend your days hiking or skiing, and your evenings enjoying a barbecue, a glass of wine on the terrace or relaxing in the sauna.

This modern mountain house offers 160 m² of comfortable living space and everything you need for a relaxing stay throughout the year.
On the ground floor you'll find a spacious living room with direct access to the terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with a fireplace, a bathroom and a separate toilet After a day of hiking or skiing, relax in the sauna while enjoying views of the surrounding forest and the High Tatras. The terrace is the perfect place for your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine overlooking the mountains.
Po turistike alebo lyžovačke si môžete oddýchnuť v saune s výhľadom na okolité lesy a tatranské štíty. Z terasy si môžete vychutnať rannú kávu alebo večerný pohár vína s nezabudnuteľným výhľadom.
Upstairs you'll find two family bedrooms and a second bathroom. The larger bedroom features a double bed together with an extra bed suitable for children. The second bedroom is connected to a cosy children's attic room.
If you need to work during your stay, you'll appreciate our attic office with two workstations. Thanks to high-speed internet, you can stay connected and work remotely — from a peaceful house hidden among the trees.
During summer you can safely store your bicycles, while in winter the ski room provides secure storage for skis and includes a ski boot dryer.

About Us
We both love the High Tatras, but we also enjoy travelling, discovering new countries, cultures and meeting new people. Whenever we travel, we prefer staying in accommodation run by local hosts. It allows us to experience the destination more authentically and often creates the most memorable travel experiences.
Those personal experiences inspired us when creating Chata Bergen. We have tried to think of every detail so our guests feel comfortable, welcome and truly at home.
Besides travelling and hiking, our passions include photography, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing and windsurfing. Nature has always been an important part of our lives, and much of that passion is reflected throughout the house. We hope Chata Bergen will become your cosy home away from home while exploring the High Tatras.
